Dr. Hwei-Yiing Johnson, State Agronomist with Cooperative Extension at Lincoln University hosted a tour of the Allen T. A mix of City, County and University professionals visited the site to learn more about these activities.
Dr.Johnson's excitement and enthusiasm were not dampened by the cold north wind!

Maplewood Barn walls are going up
Sircal Construction started installing the wall panels for the new barn yesterday. These panels are constructed of OSB with foam in between. They have great insulation and, once connected together, form a very sturdy wall and roof system. Plus they go up very quickly. The "barn" should be be looking like a barn pretty soon. Then the interior work should begin.
